11September 26th, 2015 - Jason Hughes made the trip to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) on Thursday night for the final night of The Hunt for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Casey's Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental. With a four point lead on Rodney Sanders, Jason hoped to bring home his 2nd USMTS National Championship in a stacked field of 91 Open Wheel Modifieds. Storming to the front in his heat, Hughes gained eleven spots capturing the victory. Starting in 2nd for the feature, Jason Hughes overtook Jason Krohn to score the $5,000 payday along with the USMTS National Championship. 1The following night for the USMTS sanctioned 17th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree, Jason Hughes captured a heat race win transferring him into the A-Main with a 12th place starting spot. Battling for a $5,000 payday, Jason Hughes made his move late in the race gaining eleven spots to score his 2nd straight victory. 1Wrapping up the busy yet successful weekend, Jason Hughes earned a 12th place starting spot for his heat. Needing a 4th spot or better to make show, Hughes improved eights spots edging his way into the main event. With $10,000 on the line, Jason charged to the front of the field to pull off the first ever three-win sweep of the Featherlite Fall Jamboree. Bringing his weekend payday to $20,000, Hughes captured a $10,000 payday on Saturday along with his 11th victory of the season. 1September 12th, 2015 - On Saturday night Jason Hughes headed to Salina Highbanks Speedway (Pryor Creek, Oklahoma) for the unsanctioned weekly event. Battling in a field of 27 Open Wheel Modified, Jason notched a podium finish in the feature event. Finishing 2nd behind Thomas Tillison, Hughes and Tillison were trailed to the finish line by Joe Duvall, Dan Powers and Terry Beckham.

11September 6th, 2015 - Jason Hughes returned to action on Wednesday visiting Hamilton County Speedway (Webster City, Iowa) for The Hunt for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Casey’s Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental. Drawing 22 Open Wheel Modifieds, Jason cruised to a heat race win. Starting in 8th for the feature event, Hughes captured a 5th place finish behind Jesse Sobbing, Johnny Scott, Dan Ebert, and Cory Crapser.

The following night brought Hughes to Fairmont Raceway (Fairmont, Minnesota) to compete in the tenth night of action in The Hunt for the Casey’s Cup. Bagging another heat race win in a field of 30 entries, Jason transferred into the feature with a 7th place starting position. Competing for a $3,000 payday, Jason Hughes landed a runner-up finish to Jason Krohn with Jason Cummings, Jesse Sobbing, and Rodney Sanders rounding out the top five.

Saturday night Jason made the trip to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) for night 12 of The Hunt for the Casey’s Cup. Gaining three spots in his heat, Jason scored a runner-up finish to Ben Kates. With a pole position starting spot for the feature, Jason fell back to a 3rd place outing behind Jason Krohn and Zack VanderBeek with Dereck Ramirez and Joe Duvall completing the top five.

Wrapping up the busy five-day stint in the USMTS, Jason Hughes headed to Cresco Speedway (Cresco, Iowa) on Sunday night. Logging a 2nd place finish in his heat, Hughes earned a 4th place starting spot for the 35-lap feature. Battling for another $3,500 in the Casey’s General Stores A-Main, Hughes bagged a runner-up finish to Rodney Sanders with Casey Arneson, Jesse Sobbing, and Ryan Gustin trailing them to the finish line.
