1July 25th, 2015 - Jason Hughes made the trip to Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) on Thursday night for the USMTS sanctioned 5th Annual World Modified Dirt Track Championship presented by Red Tail Tackle. In a field of 63 Open Wheel Modifieds, Hughes 4th place finish in heat transferred him into the B-Main. Coming from 3rd and winning his B-Main, Jason improved five spots in the 30-lap feature event retiring a 12th place finish.

1On Friday night with the same car count of 63 Open Wheel Modifieds, Hughes scored a heat race win from 6th place setting him up for the feature event. Starting on the pole, Jason cruised to his fifth victory of the season with Rodney Sanders, Brandon Davis, Brad Dierks and Dan Ebert completing the top five.

1Wrapping up the busy weekend on Saturday, Hughes logged two podium finishes in the two different feature races paying over $20,000 to the winners. Starting in 4th for the first 30-lap feature, Hughes improved one spot retiring a 3rd place finish behind Rodney Sanders and Brandon Davis with Terry Phillips and Brad Dierks following him to the finish line.

After a 10 minute intermission to make any last second adjustments, Jason Hughes headed back out for the 50-lap main event with a 3rd place starting spot. Battling for a $15,000 paycheck, Jason advanced one spot in the feature presented by Red Tail Tackle recording a 2nd place finish behind red hot Rodney Sanders with Terry Phillips, Joey Jensen, and Zack VanderBeek rounding out the top five.

1July 18th, 2015 - On Friday night Jason Hughes headed to I-80 Speedway for the two nights of action United States Modifieds Touring Series (USMTS). With 30 Modifieds signed in on the first night, Jason scored a heat race victory transferring him into the feature event. Starting in 4th, Jason improved two spots registering runner-up finish behind Rodney Sanders with Jeremy Payne, Terry Phillips, and Dereck Ramirez completing the top five.

The next night saw a smaller field of 27 cars signed in for the $3,000 Casey’s General Stores A-Main. Falling back in his heat to retire a 6th place finish, Hughes battled back in the B-Main capturing the win and transferring him into the feature event. With a mid-pack starting spot, Jason Hughes charged through the field receiving hard charger award yet retiring another runner-up spot to Rodney Sanders. Advancing 15 spots in the 50-lapper, Jason scored a 2nd place spot behind Sanders with Jesse Sobbing, Terry Phillips an Brian Green rounding out the top five.

1July 11th, 2015 - Jason Hughes was one of the 131 Open Wheel Modifieds that packed the pits at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) on Thursday for the three-day Mega 100. Needing a 1st place finish to transfer into Saturday’s $12,000 to win event, Jason transferred into the B-Main with a 3rd place outing. Battling for a transfer spot, Hughes logged a 3rd place finish earning his way into the 100-lapper. Looking to gain some ground in the feature, Jason scored a 10th place finish when the checkers flew.

1July 4th, 2015 - Jason Hughes made the trip to Monett Speedway (Monett, Missouri) on Thursday night for a MARS DIRTcar Series (MARS) Event piloting Tommy Weder Jr. #02H Super Late Model. With 28 entries signed in for the John Kuntz Memorial, Jason logged a heat race victory setting him up for the feature event. Battling for $3,000 payday in the Andy’s Frozen Custard A-Main, Jason Hughes captured his first Super Late Model victory of the season with Justin Asplin, Terry Philips, Tony Jackson Jr., and Brandon McCormick completing the top five.

1On Friday night Jason visited Salina Highbanks Speedway (Salina, Oklahoma) to compete in the two day show sanctioned by both MARS and Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA). In a total field of 31 Super Late Models, Hughes earned his way into the Freedom Classic with a 4th place outing in his heat. Battling for a $3,000 paycheck, Jason Hughes recorded an 8th place finish when the checkers flew at the end of the 30-lapper. In the same night Hughes pulled double duty piloting in Open Wheel Modified. Transferring into the the feature via preliminary action, Jason went on to capture his 4th victory of season.

1The following night battling for an upgraded pay of $5,000 dollars, Jason fell back in the 40-lap Freedom Classic. Following a 3rd place finish in his heat, Hughes logged a 23rd place outing in the Andy’s Frozen Custard A-Main hosted by the MLRA and MARS.
