1August 21st, 2015 - On Friday night Jason Hughes traveled to Lakeside Speedway (Kansas City, Kansas) for the eighth night of action in The Hunt for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Casey’s Cup powered by S&S Fishing and Rental. In a field of 35 cars, Hughes transferred into the B-Main with a 3rd place outing in his heat. Earning a 16th place starting spot for the feature, Jason advanced five spots in the 35-lapper retiring a 11th place finish.

1August 15th, 2015 - Jason Hughes made the trip to Red Cedar Speedway (Menomonie, Wisconsin) on Thursday for night number five in the Hunt for the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) Casey’s Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental. With 35 Modifieds signed in, Hughes logged a 6th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Transferring into the feature with a 3rd place outing in his B-Main, Jason went on to advance sixteen spots in the A-Main. Starting in 18th, Hughes landed the hard charger award along with a 2nd place finish behind Rodney Sanders with Jesse Sobbing, Jake Hartung, and Brent Larson completing the top five.

On Friday night 32 Open Wheel Modifieds signed in at Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wisconsin) for another Hunt for the Casey’s Cup event sanctioned by the USMTS. Falling one shot spot of a transfer position with a 4th place outing in his heat, Jason Hughes cruised to a 12-lap B-Main victory. With a 13th place starting spot for the 40-lap feature, Jason improved eleven spots scoring a runner-up finish to Zack VanderBeek with Jesse Sobbing, Rodney Sanders, and Dereck Ramirez rounding out the top five.

Wrapping up the three-day stint in the Hunt for the Casey’s Cup, Jason Hughes headed to Ogilvie Raceway (Ogilvie, Minnesota) for another $3,000 to win A-Main on Saturday night. Gaining two positions in his heat, Jason logged a runner-up finish to Ben Kates. The 7th starting Hughes worked his way through the field in the 40-laper recording another 2nd place finish behind Stormy Scott with Ben Kates, Zack VanderBeek, and Rodney Sanders trailing them to the finish line.

1August 9th, 2015 - Beginning the Hunt in the United States Modified Tour Series (USMTS) Casey’s Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental, Jason Hughes traveled to 81 Speedway (Park City, Kansas) on Thursday night. Transferring into the feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat, Jason had an 11th place starting spot for the A-Main. Battling in a field of 28 cars, Hughes improved eights spots logging a 3rd place finish behind Jeremy Payne and Stormy Scott with Rodney Sanders and Brent Larson completing the top five.

11The following night brought Jason to Humboldt Speedway (Humboldt, Kansas) for another round of action in the USMTS. Scoring another 3rd place finish in his heat, Jason transferred into the feature with a 2nd place starting position. Looking to bring home a $3,000 payday, Hughes led all 40-laps in the A-Main with Stormy Scott, Zack VanderBeek, Rodney Sanders, and Johnny Scott rounding out the top five. This win gives Jason his 6th victory on the season.

Saturday night Jason headed to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for round three of The Hunt for the Casey’s Cup. Improving four spots in his heat to log a 3rd place finish, Jason transferred into the A-Main with a 12th place starting spot. With 40-laps set on the scoreboard, Jason Hughes worked his way through the field to register a 6th place finish.

1Wrapping up the busy week, Jason Hughes visited Monett Speedway (Monett, Missouri) for another $3,000 payday in the USMTS. Scoring a runner-up finish from 8th in his heat, Jason earned a 2nd place starting spot for the feature. Leading all 40-laps, Jason cruised to his 7th victory of the season with Rodney Sanders, Stormy Scott, Terry Phillips, and Jesse Sobbing completing the top five.
