1June 29th, 2014 - Jason Hughes entered a $2,000-to-win United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) program on Sunday evening at his home track, Outlaw Motor Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma). Thirty-two entries took part in the event, as Hughes saw his night get off to a slow start. He failed to transfer into the main event via heat race action, but a fifth to second run in the b-main would earn him the fifteenth starting spot. In the feature Jason battled around mid-pack early on in the race before mechanical issues brought his night to an early end just before the halfway point. 1June 21st, 2014 - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) tour traveled to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) on Friday night for the 16th Annual Grassy Smith Memorial, which posted a $10,000 top prize for competitors. A sixth place finish in his heat race earned Jason the seventeenth starting spot on the grid for the 50 lap finale. With passing being difficult in the feature, Hughes went on to finish eighteenth in the final rundown.

The action shifted to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) on Saturday night at the LOLMDS tour made its first ever visit to the 4/10 mile oval. Twenty-seven entries registered for the inaugural Ole Smoky Moonshine Classic, and Jason once again finished sixth in heat race to start sixteenth in the $10,000-to-win main event. During the course of the 50 lap feature Hughes advanced six spot to a solid tenth place finish at the checkered flag.

Jason is tenth in the series' Championship Point Standings and continues to lead the Rookie of the Year chase. Full results from the weekend and the latest standings are available at www.LucasDirt.com

1June 14th, 2014 - Jason resumed competition with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) over the weekend, as he entered the annual Clash at the Mag, at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi).

Forty-four Super Late Models filled the pit area at the state-of-the-art 3/8 mile oval. On Friday night, Jason's qualifying efforts earned him the fourth starting spot in his heat race. He went on to finish second, locking him into the eighth starting position on the grid for Saturday's 100 lap finale.

In the main event Hughes battled amongst the top ten for much of the event before settling to a fifteenth place finish at the checkered flag.

1June 7th, 2014 - Jason Hughes made the trip to the famed Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) for the 20th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream 100 over the weekend.

Action opened on Thursday night as seventy-eight entries converged on the 1/2 mile oval. The preliminary event saw the field divided into a pair of $2,500-to-win programs, and mechanical issues in heat race action found Hughes starting deep in a b-main. Unfortunately he failed to reach a transfer spot as his night came to an early end.

Preliminary events for the 20th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream 100 continued on Friday evening with the winner's check increasing to $5,000. Dual programs were once again contested, and Hughes locked into the 25 lap feature via a third place finish in heat race action. In the main event Jason retired to a nineteenth place finish in the final rundown.

The weekend came to a close on Saturday with the $100,000-to-win finale for the 20th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream 100. Jason's preliminary efforts positioned him starting second in his heat race. He went on to finish second in the heat, earning him is first ever Dirt Late Model Dream start at the famed oval. In the feature Hughes battled around mid-pack during the first half of the race before retiring to a seventeenth place finish.
